Green Tea and Watermelon Spritzer

Fresh juices and mint topped off with seltzer make a light and refreshing non-alcoholic drink, but with an extra special touch: it’s poured over delicious ice cubes made of green tea and watermelon juice.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Luzianne Iced Green Tea, brewed and sweetened to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 large sprig mint
  • Watermelon Juice and Green Tea Ice Cubes (recipe follows)
  • 1/2 cup seltzer water

Directions

  1. Combine the tea, lime juice and mint in a carafe or pitcher. Pour into glasses filled with Watermelon Juice and Green Tea ice cubes and top off with seltzer. Serve immediately.
Watermelon Juice and Green Tea Ice Cubes
  1. Puree watermelon pieces in a blender until completely smooth. Strain juice through a fine mesh strainer to remove solids.
  2. Combine the tea and watermelon juice, mix well, and pour into ice cube trays; freeze. Makes about 18 ice cubes.
