Strong Mint Syrup
1 Cup syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves, packed (about two .75 oz packages fresh mint)
- Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently to dissolve sugar. Add mint and steep for 30 minutes. Strain out mint and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
