Apple Chai-der

Apple Chai-der is blend of chai tea concentrate and apple cider – a fall flavored sipper you can serve hot or iced. For a more spirited version, add some spiced rum and turn it into an easy, crowd-friendly cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chai Concentrate
  • 1 cup apple cider (or apple juice)
  • 4 ounces spiced rum, optional
  • Garnishes: Cinnamon stick, cinnamon powder or apple slices

Directions

For Hot Apple Chai-der:
  1. In a small saucepan, combine chai tea concentrate and apple cider.
  2. Heat gently until warmed through (do not boil). Stir in spiced rum, if desired.
  3. Pour into mugs, garnish with a cinnamon stick, and serve.
For Iced Apple Chai-der:
  1. Fill two tall glasses with ice.
  2. Pour equal parts chai concentrate and apple cider over ice; add spiced rum, if desired. Stir to combine.
  3. Garnish with apple slices and a sprinkle of cinnamon and serve.
