Cucumber Syrup


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cucumber, shredded


  1. Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium -high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar, about 5 minutes
  2. Remove from heat and add the cucumber. Let steep for 30 minutes and up to 1 hour. Strain and transfer to a glass jar or bottle and refrigerate. Will last for 1 month in the refrigerator.
